Job Description:

 

Research market conditions in Houston and Texas, and gather data to determine the potential sales of insurance services, such as life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care, dental insurance, term insurance, annuities and health insurance. Find data on competitors, including pricing, options, and services offered.  Prepare reports for management analyzing marketing opportunities.  Create marketing campaign directed toward persons and businesses who may benefit from such services.  Advise management of the most effective ways to reach customers, such as through direct mail, advertising on social media, email, websites, blogs, advertising in local newspapers, telephone, conventions, door-to-door cold calling, and other personal contact. Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data regarding customer demographics, preferences, and needs, such as internet surveys, and arrange to obtain existing data. Measure effectiveness of marketing strategy, recommending changes as needed.
